DAY 15 OF 19

God’s Work of Wonders

Psalm 77:14

You are the God of great wonders! You demonstrate Your awesome power among the nations.

Elihu sang praises about God’s work of wonders. God has power over the weather, storm, rain, lightning, and thunder. Who but GOD alone is more powerful than any storm, rain, lightning, and thunder?

People living in some countries always look forward to their first snow when winter comes. It is indeed, beautiful. However, the weather forecasters do not always get the first snow predicted right. Who but GOD alone can decide when the first snow should fall?

When winter comes, the wild animals will find a den to hibernate. Some of them sleep for a longer time, while some sleep for a shorter time. Who but GOD alone can control the wild animals that roam freely?

God’s work of wonders is designed to draw His people to Himself. It declares His absolute control over events, people, and all powers. It reveals His presence among His people. When you start to reflect on God’s work of wonders that nobody can replicate, you will stand in awe of Him!

Prayer

Dear God, I am amazed knowing that Your work of wonders demonstrates Your boundless power, Your divine protection, and Your amazing grace. You are my God of wonders! Amen.
