Truth Is a Person
The truth will set you free.
It’s a saying repeated throughout history, yet it’s also a profound principle whose origins begin and end with Jesus. He was the One who first said those words, and He’s also the One who makes them possible.
In John 8:31–32, He said, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (NLT).
Then in, John 14:6, He adds, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (NIV).
Truth doesn’t change with culture, and it doesn’t adapt to the new normal. Truth is constant. Truth is absolute. And the truth won’t be broken, because truth is a person and His name is Jesus! He is always present. He is always available. And He is the Way to a life that’s better than imagination.
Personal Reflection
What governs your perception of truth? What are some ways you can give room for the truth of Jesus to influence and transform areas of your life?

About this Plan
Culture often dictates that our worth, path, and identity are determined by our race, gender, the things we’ve done, and the things that have been done to us. Over the next 30 days, we will discover what it looks like to be bold, transparent, and confront our shame.
