DAY 3 OF 3

THE PROMISE OF THE LORD

He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Truly our Lord is so amazing. We have seen how He led His people and prospered them. Nevertheless, all of these were destroyed by the wickedness of His people. Will God return to love His people?

God also has feelings. God must have been disappointed and sad when He looked at what His people did. We will also feel the same thing when we see someone whom we helped chose to take everything that we have done for him for granted.

Micah came to God to bring the situation of the Israelites before Him. Seeing the decaying morals and the horrible crimes committed by the Israelites, it's understandable if God had decided to punish them. Micah came to the Lord and begged Him for His mercy. God remembered His covenant with Abraham.

God is so faithful to His people. His faithfulness is still proven even when His people are not faithful to Him. He will continue to give grace until they turn to Him. God forgives His people again and again. God promised to give His blessings to the seed of Abraham, and by the seed Abraham, other nations would be blessed.

If God's love is so great for His people, then His love and faithfulness will also be bestowed on us. God's grace is an opportunity for us to get to know Him more. We are prepared to receive what God has promised to us.

The Lord never disappoints us under any circumstances for He cares about us.
