The Greatest News (Week 1)

DAY 3 OF 7

The Birth of Jesus—the greatest gift God has given humanity, besides salvation, is His only son! Welcome to our Christmas devotional. As you journey together through the wonder of God’s amazing plan and provision, we pray that you have fun, while discovering more about God’s heart for everyone. We pray that every truth you learn through this plan will be remembered and carried with you through life as you journey with, and always follow, Jesus.

READ:

The Nativity Story’ by Juliet Davis or in Matthew 1:18-23

The shepherds and the wise men dropped everything and rushed to see Jesus!

They were so excited because they knew that He was a precious gift from God.

The shepherds knelt before Him and the wise men brought gifts. They came and celebrated Jesus.

ASK:

What do you do in your family to celebrate Jesus at Christmas? Maybe you could even do something new this year!

REMEMBER:

But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere!" (Luke 2:10 TPT)

SAY:

Thank you God that you sent your Son,

Help us to remember while we have fun,

Give us the courage to share the greatest news,

With everyone, everywhere, that all may hear,

As we shout it from the rooftops, loud and clear!

Amen!
