INSEPARABLE
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (Romans 8:35)
How many Christians retreat from their faith when facing a a big problem? It can happen to us all, when we wonder where God is in our trouble, suffering, or distress.
The answer to every doubt is that God never leaves us. He is the God who is with and loves His children forever. Paul did not deny the fact that Christians will face enemies or problems. But what every believer needs to know is that our struggle and suffering is not because God is withholding his love.
That is why, verse by verse, Romans states the truth that we should always cling to God and when God is on our side, no one will be able to defeat us. Therefore, if God guarantees all of these promises, why should we fear and tremble?
God, who created the heavens and the earth, has great love for man. This was proven when He was willing to sacrifice His Son to atone for our sins, securing our eternal life. When our hearts are filled with overwhelming fear and anxiety, we need to quickly remember the overwhelming love of our great God.
His love is our victory under any circumstance. Rejoice because of this.
