Real Hope: Patience in the Waitingنموونە
God's Curtain Calls
Imagine for a moment that you’re at the theatre. All eyes are focused on the red velvet curtains in front of the stage. Right on cue, the music wells, the lights dim, and a hush descends on the audience. You’re on the edge of your seat. Finally, the curtains swing back, an elaborate scene appears, and the action begins.
But if you’ve ever had the chance to go backstage just before a performance, you’ll notice the scene is very different. There’s a flurry of activity, props are being set up, equipment is being moved from one place to another. There’s ropes and ladders and last-minute changes.
Sometimes in the theatre of life it feels like nothing is happening. We’re praying and there’s no answer. We’re believing for breakthrough, but God seems to have left the building.
The truth is that God is always working on our behalf. He’s designing and planning to make things work together for our good. There are things happening behind the curtain that we can’t see. In the fullness of time, the curtains will open, and we will see that God’s been preparing a show that is well worth waiting for.

About this Plan
There are many seasons in life where it feels like we are stagnant. Waiting for the next step, for life to change or God to move. In these seasons it's sometimes hard to imagine if God is still there with us. This plan is designed to encourage and strengthen you in those times of waiting. God is working in the waiting and we can hold firm to His promises.
