Walk Through The Bible 365 - Februaryنموونە
The Good, The Bad, and The Promise
Everyone likes to receive the blessings and goodness of God Almighty. We feel secure, special, and overwhelmed. There is a flip side to this idea of divine favor. Along with today's verses we find defeat, terror, destruction, punishment, afflictions, etc. for those who disobey God's message. With these two contrasting views there is one more divine, holy reminder God has for the reader. No matter how evil the disobedient becomes, God promises to keep His covenant He made with our ancestors so we will not be completely rejected or annihilated.
Prayer: I am so thankful Lord for your goodness and faithfulness to me. Your blessings overwhelm me and I can not count them all. Have mercy on the disobedient and forgive us of our sins. I hold to your covenant that you will grant us favor and be fruitful when we obey your Word. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
