Just Like You

DAY 3 OF 10

What is the nicest thing someone has done for you?  Why do you think that person did that for you? How did it feel to have someone care for you in that way? We all have experienced someone doing a good deed, and we all probably have done some good deeds, but what tends to get in the way of always doing good deeds?  Do you ever find yourself in a place where you are too busy or in too much of a hurry to notice the needs of others all around you?  When was the last time you asked God to show you the needs the people in your life have right now?  Who is someone that you could bless today and let your good deeds touch that person?

Challenge: Today, we challenge you to take some time to pray and ask God to open your eyes to the needs of others around you.  We then want to challenge you to do something about the needs others have.  Remember, when you practice good deeds towards others, you shine Jesus brightly in their lives.

About this Plan

Just Like You

Everyone wants to make a difference in this world. However, what God says about influence and what the world says sometimes compete. Over the next ten days, we will look at what God says about influence. How do we use our influence for His purposes? How does what God says about influence differ from what the world teaches?
