30 Day Challenge: A Walk Through Proverbsنموونە
Day Three
Read Proverbs 3
Proverbs reminds us that God gives us wisdom, and in doing so, He will also discipline us. In order to be His disciples, we must trust God in His discipline. Chapter three tells is that we should trust in the LORD with all our whole heart and not rely only on what we can understand. We have a limited view of the world in comparison to what God sees—that’s why we trust in Him to guide the way for us.
Reflect
There are several “do not” phrases in the passage we read today that are meant to guide us as we seek out wisdom. What do they say?
Engage
Why do you think God says no sometimes?
Read Jeremiah 29:11. What does this verse say about God’s plan?
How can you start to lean on God’s understanding rather than your own?
An Extra Mile
Grab a journal or notebook and write out some places in your life where you have been relying on your own understanding. Pray over those places and ask God for wisdom and faith to trust in His plan.

About this Plan
Oftentimes life looks like an open road and we aren’t sure which way it will turn. Other times, we feel like we are in control of where we are heading—no need to stop for directions. As believers, we must make sure that our GPS is programmed to the Word. God is our ultimate guide through the journey; He is the Creator of the road itself.
