Good Morning: A Minimal Devotionalنموونە
Work Ethic
Good morning.
There is a vast difference between productivity and busyness. Just because we might be moving around does not mean that our assignments are moving forward. Having a good work ethic implies being diligent with your initiative, time management, organization, prioritization, and execution. From the conception of a task to completion, we give all we have.
That being said, we do this for an audience of one. We work in the name of faithfulness to God and not for the applause of man. If their applause sustains us, their silence will enchain us. I understand this is easier said than done. Most of us, if not all, have experienced this personally. We’ve discovered that it’s feeble ground to stand on. May Heaven’s “Well done” be our aim as we work with all our hearts, no matter the task entrusted to us.
What is one area of your work ethic that you could improve in this week?
