7 Signs of Walking in the Holy Spiritنموونە
Pay the price of being consistent in the pursuit after God.
Saul started out well, but he didn’t pay the price for staying true to that course. Wait on the Lord, for that was Saul’s first big mistake. He didn’t wait for Samuel, he went ahead of his spiritual leader. As a result, God came and told him that he could not continue as a king because he didn’t wait. God found someone better, not a better leader, better fighter, or even better king, but a better man. What was so much better about this man whom God found to replace Saul?
God found someone who is “after His heart.” Saul wasn’t after God. It wasn’t that Saul’s sin was huge, but his desire for God was anemic. David’s qualification for the kingdom was that he sought after God’s heart. David wasn’t perfect; he was passionate. He pursued God; he wasn’t passive.
Passion must marry persistence for us to be consistent. Stay the course. Faithfully keep your time with God. Don’t trade that precious communion for anything. Keep on praying, fasting, and sacrificing.
Let’s pray together.
Holy Spirit, we continue to relax in Your precious arms.
About this Plan
All Christians have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, but not all Christians have intimacy with Him. There is a difference between a relationship and intimacy. A relationship with the Holy Spirit comes through salvation. However, intimacy only comes through the surrender of our lives to the Holy Spirit.
