SE STUDENTS Be The Branch - Part 1نموونە
Devotional Day 3 - Pruned for My Good
Pruning is the process of trimming back living and healthy tissue in order to increase the health and quality of the fruit. A gardener would be willing to cut off entire bunches of grapes in order to have a better product at harvest time. Our loving God, as a good gardener, will always prune branches that are connected to the vine.
There will be times in your life when God takes things away from you. These things aren’t always bad things. Sometimes God will even take away areas of your life that you believe are good. Why would He do this? Because He loves you.
It’s important to know that pruning is not easy. It’s not fun and it’s almost never pleasant, but you can take comfort knowing that if you are in a season of pruning, it is because God loves you. If God is pruning, that means He is close to you. He is pruning you for your good. What are some ways or areas that God is pruning you right now?
