Ending Your Day Right

DAY 4 OF 14

Make Love a Habit

If you intend to make love a habit, you must develop the habit of loving people with your words. Your fleshly (lower, sensual) nature points out your flaws, weaknesses, and failures. It seems to feed on the negatives in life. It sees and magnifies all that is wrong with people and things. But the Bible says you are to overcome evil with good (see Romans 12:21).

Walking in the Spirit, continually following the leading, guiding, and working of the Holy Spirit through your own spirit instead of being led by your emotions, requires being positive.

It is easy to find something wrong with everyone. But love does not expose faults, it covers them. Ask God to help you share His love with others.

About this Plan

Ending Your Day Right

Spending time with God at night before you go to bed is an extra special time. Ending Your Day Right is a time-specific devotional to help you focus on God at the end of your busy days. This evening devotional will help you have unhurried time to relax in God's presence, reflect on the day's activities, acknowledge and thank Him for His presence throughout the day and seek His help with any unresolved problems or concerns. In the quiet solitude of the night, He will refresh and restore you, lead you in paths of righteousness and teach you how to enjoy every day of your life.
