Can I Change God’s Mind Through Prayer? نموونە
Prayer Is Always Answered
As God’s children, we need to accept that prayer is the instrument that He has ordained to work through. We just need to humble ourselves to receive that as the truth to live by. We do not need to understand how or why God has ordained prayer to be the method He works through. We just need to believe that it is.
This is a very comforting truth because there is often a waiting season between the time that we pray and the time that we see the results. Not every prayer gets answered immediately. Some believers lose hope, thinking that the petition of their heart went unanswered. However, there is no such thing as unanswered prayer. God answers every prayer according to His will. Our understanding and acceptance of His answers—whether 'yes,' 'no,' or 'wait'—must align with our trust in His perfect wisdom and timing.
We know that our God is a good Father. If He answers “no” to any of our petitions, we can be assured that whatever we asked for was not good for us. Of course, we love it when God answers “yes.” The Scripture tells us that every promise of God is “yes” and “amen” in Christ Jesus. The hardest answer to receive is often “wait.” We are naturally impatient as human beings. Many times, we do not understand why something good for us requires waiting. Scripture, however, tells us that we gain strength as we wait on the Lord. That is only possible if we wait in trust.
As God’s children, we can offer our requests to God and lay them at His feet. We can cast our cares on Him because He cares for us. While we put our cares at the feet of Christ, we need to leave them there. We should not worry about when those prayers or petitions will be answered. We can wait in trust, knowing that God has our best interests in mind and will give us exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. We can rest in knowing that He does all things well. We can fully trust His will and that what He determines to do in our lives is the very best.
