You Are Enough: 3 Day Devotionalنموونە
DAY 2: SO I AM
Let these words resonate around your brain and ‘so we are’! Let’s make it personal, say it out loud – SO I AM!
This verse declares, He loves you and you are His child - there is no argument – so I am! The NIV version says ‘And that is what we are!' You have to believe the Bible over your emotions, hormones, negative words spoken over you or your past! In 1 John 3:1 we are told that we can securely rest as children of God and in His love for us. Now, don’t put your own dysfunctional idea of a Father onto this verse, your heavenly Father is slow to anger, abounding in love, He adores you, He will protect you, will provide for you, will never leave you and will do everything He can to keep you safe and assured of His love.
You also have to know that His love for you isn’t a reaction to you doing something good or being perfect. He doesn’t love you because you did all the right things, you are not His child because you earnt it, you don’t earn being a child. Did you earn being in your family, no?! You opened your eyes one day and you had just taken a crazy ride out of the womb and now you’re a child, with a family.
Now no matter your earthly upbringing, when you became a Christian you were ‘born again’ and this time you woke up with an incredible spiritual Father. He adores you. He is a doting Dad! He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, He is all powerful and you are His child! Jackpot!! Believe it today as you remember this verse, be secure in it and say again – loved by God, child of God - SO I AM!

About this Plan
The feeling of inadequacy at times feels like it will never go away, whether you are a successful business person, a brilliant parent, winning awards, or just in the routine of life, it feels permanent. But we are not people of the world, we are people of the Word and there are some truths that we can stand on to ensure that we know that we are enough for Him.
