7 Steps to Racial Reconciliation | 1 Week to Healing نموونە

The reason reconciliation is so pivotal is because we need to celebrate and embody the uniqueness of the Body of Christ. Different isn’t bad; it’s beautiful. It’s useful. We cannot all be the same because unity is not uniformity. We don’t need everyone to be hands, and we don’t need everyone to be feet. We need everyone to be uniquely different.
The truth is, no other organization or movement has been given the unique opportunity and privilege of reconciliation except the Church. Unity is God’s idea. Therefore, we should meet each other on common ground because every single person is made in the image of God.

What’s reconciliation? It’s “the restoration of friendly relations.” Biblically it is the restoration of right relationship. It’s all about relationships. It’s God’s desire for us to be restored to right relationship with Him, and reconciliation is that process. That is the Gospel, that Jesus reconciled us back to the Father.
