Church Volume Two: A 9-Day Devotional by Jesus Cultureنموونە
You Cannot Be Stopped - Chris Quilala
It is inevitable that we will face impossible situations in life. When we are faced with impossible circumstances, we always have a choice! We can either let fear paralyze us and keep us from moving past these “mountains” in our life, or we can choose to step out in faith. God asks us to trust Him completely. He requires faith from us because He loves to partner with us. He promises that when we believe, nothing will be impossible!
“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” Matthew 17:20 (NLT)
“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
“You Cannot Be Stopped” is a song that reminds us of the might and power of our God! It reminds us that the battle has already been won and we stand in a place of victory because of the death and resurrection of Jesus. This is one of the many reasons worship should always be top priority in our life. It is vital that our affections are always set on Christ. When we constantly feast on the awe and wonder of Him it transforms and renews us. We begin to think differently. Seemingly impossible situations are now seen through the eyes of heaven, and faith for the impossible is stirred within us. I encourage you today to get at the feet of Jesus and simply worship. Don’t ask for anything (it’s harder than it sounds) and just simply adore Him. He will meet with you because He always loves to respond to our love. I pray that this song stirs up faith within you and that you will see the mountains in your life moved as you encounter the goodness of God in your life!
