Welcome to Your New Life

DAY 1 OF 5

So, what is salvation?  Simply put, salvation means that you have been saved from the wrath of God.  You may be wondering, “How was I saved from the wrath of God, I didn’t do anything to be saved?”.  That is the beautiful part of salvation.  In Romans 10:9-10 the Bible tells us that if we declare with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and if we believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, then we are saved.

You see, by believing in Jesus, you are made right with God.  It’s truly that easy.  God loves you so much that He couldn’t stand not having a relationship with you, but because of your sin it made it very difficult for you and Him to have a relationship.  So He came up with a plan (2 Corinthians 5:21).  In John 3:16 the Word of God tells us that God sent His only son in substitution to die in place of you.  Jesus was in every way sinless (Hebrews 4:15), He was the perfect substitution, and because He was sinless He was able to carry the weight of the worlds sin.  So when you believe in Jesus, you are acknowledging that substitution; and because of that, God now see’s Jesus, perfect and sinless, when he looks at you. The only thing you have to do to be saved is to believe, it’s that easy.

That's what salvation is.
