Fear Is Kryptonite to Businessنموونە
Do Not Fear Like Those Who Have No Hope
Fear is contagious among non-believers because they don't have the antibodies to fight it, which is hope. However, if we, as believers, are not careful, we can also catch the fear virus if we give up our hope. Therefore, the Bible instructs us not to fear like those who have no hope.
So, what is hope? Hope is an expectation that something good is going to happen in life because we are followers of Jesus. Hope is not wishing. Instead, it is knowing that goodness will happen.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 teaches us not to grieve like people who have no hope, because we have hope in Jesus. Even if we lose something, we have hope that Jesus can restore it.
Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-32 not to worry about things, like food and clothing. This would include also not worrying about money or how your business is going to succeed in stressful times.
Jesus goes on to teach us that the worry of scarcity is what dominates the thoughts of unbelievers. However, we have no need to worry because God knows that we need money, food, clothes, business success, etc. And since God knows that we need these things, He will give them to us. He desires for us to have His best in this life.
Our part is to seek the Kingdom of God, which is God's ways of doing things. If we seek His ways and do them, then according to Jesus, God will give us everything we need.
Our hope (expectation) is that, as we are following God's ways, God will guide us to victory. This is why we don't have to fear as unbelievers do.
About this Plan
To succeed in the business that God has placed in our hearts, we must have faith. However, the enemy of faith is fear. Both cannot be in us at the same time. In this three-day devotional we will examine some scriptures about fear so we can kick it out of our lives. When fear is gone, faith can come so we can succeed in life.
