Supernatural Courage A 5 Day Devotional by Mickey Robinson نموونە
Courage to Forgive
Utilizing supernatural bravery to forgive is not entry-level work. The ability to forgive is a continuation of the character development of the lives that we have as new creatures in Christ. How do we get to a place where we have the courage to forgive others? How are we able to get the release that the Lord intends for us to have within the challenges that we face?
The truth is that it is not usually within our natural ability to forgive. When there are hurts and wounds without forgiveness, it seems like the pain is never over. It is really easy to become offended, but it is our responsibility to process our issues. We need the supernatural help of the Spirit of God. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, peace and joy.
It is the anointing of forgiveness that breaks the yoke with the power of God’s love and forgiving redemption. Justice is good. Mercy is better. Mercy triumphs over judgment. This is a better way of living. He has overcome, and you are an overcomer. Knowing how much we have been forgiven and being able to experience the reckless love of God empowers us to forgive others.
Let me assure you that the healing of rejection and the uprooting of bitterness is available through the power of forgiveness. If you are a believer in Jesus, you are loved and accepted by the only one who really matters for eternity. As you have been forgiven, you have the ability to forgive others.
Prayer
Lord, I come before You as one who has received great grace. I thank You, Lord, that because of Your grace I have been given bold access to come before You. And it is only because of Your grace and forgiveness that I stand and walk in the light. By the joy of Your love in the power of Your Spirit, help me to forgive others and to live in harmony. Thank You for the increase of this revelation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
Think of a relationship in your life that needs forgiveness. Give your desire for justice to God and ask Him to step in and make things right. Then remind yourself of a time that the Lord healed a broken relationship. Believe that the Lord can do it again.
