Fear Busters (Week 4)

DAY 4 OF 7

Day Four - God has a plan for me.

Hello mini Fearbusters? How are you all doing? Are you having fun following our journey with the Fear Busters?

READ

‘Jesus Teaches on a Mountain’ in the Beginner's Bible (Pages 318 to 321) or in Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus is teaching people on the mountain and telling them that they do not need to worry about anything!

Matthew 6:34 it says “Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself” (TPT). Jesus is telling the people that they do not need to worry.  Jesus is telling us also ‘do not worry’.  This verse tells us to ‘deal with each challenge as it comes along’.  So there may be things that we have to face today that are challenging, or even a bit scary but we can do this knowing that Jesus is with us!

Jesus tells us to take one day at a time and not to worry about tomorrow - because He knows that God has a plan!  God always has a plan!

ASK:

What are some of the things that you may want to worry about or find scary?

What can you do when you feel worried or scared?  Tell your grown up about these.

What do the Fear Busters tell us to remember?  Let's say the Fear Busters prayer today with actions, with confidence and have fun today!

REMEMBER:

“So what should we say about this? If God is for us, then no one can defeat us.”  (Romans 8:31 ICB)

SAY - FEARBUSTER PRAYER:

You are bigger than my fears. You wipe away my tears. I have a voice to pray, you teach me what to say. I am brave because of you! This sickness just won't do, we tell it now to QUIT. We've had enough of it!
