Hope for Challenging Timesنموونە
Be Encouraged
Jesus knew that we’d need encouragement. He loves us so much that he gave his best. When doubt clouds our vision and chokes our faith, his Spirit gently fans the flames of hope and gives sight to our eyes. He reminds us of the One who holds nothing back from us, but only holds things for us until we’re ready for them.
Pain is inevitable. Brokenness afflicts us with puzzling perplexity. At times our hearts feel stiff, and we wonder if Jesus is still there. All of these reasons are why he stays and why he gave us the Holy Spirit. His joy becomes ours. The softness of his hands massages our hearts and brings us back to life. He is our comfort in a place that suddenly feels empty. We need him. Expectantly long for the miracle of hope that he always brings—that he is bringing even now.
Jesus, even now I can feel the breath of heaven reviving me, lifting me up and strengthening me with surprising wonder. Only you can do this—completely strip away the heaviness that felt like it would be there forever. I can breathe again. You’re here, and you’ll never leave.
