DAY 6 - Go in Peace
"You're blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.” — Matthew 5:8 MSG
I sometimes have trust issues with the Weather app on my phone.
There have been times where I've logged into the app and been outside wearing shorts, in the sweltering heat, and the app says it is 10°C outside (50°F).
The problem is what I am feeling doesn’t reflect what I am seeing on the app.
Right now, what you see in the world might not reflect the peace that you can experience in Jesus. My encouragement to you is that you have more influence than you realise with your friends, family or work colleagues to see the Courageous Peace reflected in your life.
You have more influence than you realise in how you speak, what you post, and what you choose to think about.
In this season, your Courageous Peace has the potential to turn heads and for people to ask questions about the peace you have amidst a world of chaos & fear. Peace is attractive & countercultural.
Courageous Peace is a contagious peace.
After healing the woman in Luke 8, Jesus responds to her by saying “Go in Peace"
In Jewish culture, the statement “Go in Peace” was a common farewell. It was almost the same as saying “See you soon”. However when Jesus said this three letter statement, it changed everything.
It was a commission for peace to be her testimony.
Jesus not only wants to heal our condition, but he wants to give us the gift of peace, a courageous peace.
During this plan you have wrestled with worry, surrendered control & began to shape your worries into prayers.
God’s invisible work within you, is preparing you for his visible work through you.
Peace is more contagious than you realise.

Thank you for reading this plan. I want to truly honour you for committing to this plan. Thank you for the privilege of being able to walk this journey with you in your devotional time.
Question:
Who is someone you can share your testimony with who can be encouraged to trust Jesus in their season?
Prayer:
Dear God. Thank you for your incredible peace that surpasses all understanding, may it guard my heart & mind today. Open my eyes to see those that I can encourage that need your peace in this season. In Jesus Name. Amen.
