How You Can Overcome Temptation: Video Devotionsنموونە
Yes, You Will Make Some Mistakes
Guilt is a natural reaction when we give in to temptation. But whether that guilt is a good thing or a bad thing depends entirely on how we respond to it. So don’t let your mistakes – and the guilt that follows them – condemn you, or hold you back from turning to Jesus and asking for His forgiveness.
LIFE APPLICATION QUESTIONS
- When was the last time you let Jesus down and gave into temptation?
- How do you feel now, thinking back on your actions? Guilty? Or relieved, happy and grateful that He’s already forgiven you for your mistake?
- Ask God to break down your feelings of guilt so they can’t become a barrier that separates you from Him. Pray that He will fill you with His Spirit and the perfect love that drives out all guilt and fear.
- Meditate on Romans 6:14 today. Celebrate the fact that Jesus is now your Master – not sin. Praise God!
