The Business of Loving Thy Neighbor

DAY 4 OF 4

Property Managers

What does it look like to be faithful today?

That question doesn’t always have a simple answer. It’s much easier to think about what we can do to be faithful this year. Or maybe, we can look to the future and see what would happen as a result of our faithfulness. But today? Who knows what we can actually do now?

As a manager or person in charge of other people, being faithful isn’t just a suggestion. It’s a command in Scripture. This is as much a part of the job description as revenues and profits. You have to be faithful.

And today, we have a place for you to start. Turn to God. Praying to Him is an act of faith that you can always take...

All-knowing God, thank you for the stewardship that has been entrusted to me. May I be found faithful in your sight. Give me wisdom today for the community I manage. Help me remember that my stewardship extends beyond the physical to the even greater riches of souls–the employees and people under my care. For without excellent staff, our business will falter, and without other people, we will have no business at all. Help me serve those I encounter today with cheerful excellence. Give me a sharp mind to identify and eliminate waste. Grant me wisdom for every decision I face. And may the result be a warm, welcoming, profitable place where people come to know you, Jesus. Amen.
