Finding True Purposeنموونە
Day 2 - Who Am I?
Who we are and what we should do are huge questions and can lead to lots of confusion. The first key is to understand that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Then we move to appreciating the difference between why God created you and what you should do with your life.
According to Solomon, life is all about honoring God with our thoughts and actions. He calls us to keep His commandments for one day we will stand before Him in judgment. Therefore, part of our reason for being created and having purpose is to have a respectful and healthy fear of God and obey Him.
The more we get to know our Creator and the more we love Him, the better we understand who we are and what our purpose is. We were created to bring Him glory. God has unique plans and purposes for each person. We can trust that whatever those plans look like, they will ultimately result in His glory when lived out in faith.
Father God, please keep reminding me of your love for me as your child. May this lead to more genuine worship and a greater appreciation for who you are. Amen.
About this Plan
At some point we all ask questions about why we were created, what are we supposed to do and what does God want from us. The world usually tries to answer these questions very differently than scripture. God loves you and made you for a very specific reason. Over the next six days learn how to live the abundant life God desires.
