We are helpless without the power of God, yet in our weakness he invites us to come into his presence with our prayers and petitions. Our “great high priest” loves us and understands how much we need him.

Read today’s Scripture passages. Say or write them out in your own words, considering the following questions:

· What do they say about God?

· What do they say about us?

· Is there a promise to trust?

· Is there a command to obey?

· How will I apply these Scriptures to my life?

· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?

Memorize

Now read this week’s memory verses, Hebrews 4:14-16. Spend a few minutes beginning to memorize them.
