God's Wisdom
Wisdom is something that the leader needs to have in his duty. Without wisdom a leader will not be able to perform His duties properly. Solomon knew exactly what he needed at that time and only God was able to fulfill what he needed. "For the Lord gives wisdom, from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding." (Proverbs 2: 6). Solomon wrote: "Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver,And her gain than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies,And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her." (Proverbs 3: 13-15). With God’s wisdom, Solomon could make wise decisions, he could discern which was true and which was not, and could uphold the truth and justice for the things that was happened to the Israelites. In this case Solomon prioritized the most important one with regard to his duties and responsibilities as a leader, because as a leader he had to be a role model for anyone.
Do we realize that no matter how small a task we hold, we are leaders? That's why we need the same thing like what Solomon did, it is “ wisdom”. In today's world it is very difficult to find a wise leader. Therefore let’s use our times to worship Christ as the time when we ask for His wisdom. Before we are entrusted with greater things, let's sharpen our wisdom by continuing to involve the Holy Spirit to guide us in every decision we make.
God's wisdom will only be obtained when we are close to God.
