Joshua - Restنموونە
“When you know who you are - you will know what to do” - Craig Groeschel
When Joshua gave his farewell address, he reminded Israel who they were and what God did for them.
As Jesus followers enter rest, we need to be reminded that we had nothing to do with it. We forget that we were dead in our trespasses and sins - slaves filled with the spirit of disobedience.
It is God who makes us alive in Christ by the Holy Spirit to complete the inheritance of good works prepared for us in advance. The Holy Spirit works in us to present us as slaves of righteousness - living sacrifices pleasing and acceptable to God
God provides the inheritance, by His power we steward it.
Challenge:
- Memorize Joshua 22:5
- Who are you in Christ?
About this Plan
“The war is over - God has given your brothers rest.” We also have an inheritance, and the war is over. Jesus won every battle on the cross. This plan covers the central theme of Joshua - Love God and serve Him if you want to enjoy His blessings. This stand-alone plan is also part 9 of a 10 part series.
