Children of the King

DAY 3 OF 3

What does it mean when Christians say they are “adopted in the family of God”? Well, our adoption into God’s family provides us with three truths to remember:

  1. We are loved without end by our Father

The same God who created the Heavens and the Earth created you and wanted you to become His son or daughter. In fact, He wanted you to join His family so deeply that He sent His only perfect son to die on your behalf so you could join this family. There are no limits to the extent of your Father’s love for you.

  1. We receive blessings from our Father

A good parent feels joy when they see their child joyful. God is the same way with us. It delights Him to see us delighted, especially if it causes us to delight in Him more. If you are going through a difficult situation right now, remember God wants good for you more than you want good for you. Be patient, trust His goodness, and spend some time praying to Him about your circumstances.

  1. We have an eternal inheritance promised to us by our Father and secured for us by our brother, Jesus.

There will be a day when death, destruction, and pain will be no more. God promises His children an inheritance of a world far greater than the one we are living in now. In this new world, there will be only joy, thanksgiving and praises as we live as one with our Father in perfect harmony.

How sweet it is to be loved so infinitely by our Father!

About this Plan

Children of the King

Christians must acknowledge their role as a Son or Daughter to the King of Kings. To live out of that identity is much more difficult. This 3-day study invites you to a relationship with God, your Father as a son or daughter so you can begin leading others to share in that identity with you forever. Are you ready to meet the Father?
