He Knows You

You are not characterized by your past. Jesus has defined you. You are all that He says you are: unashamed, unafraid, powerful, and radiant. You are filled with His glory and created in His image. When Jesus looks at you, He sees a masterpiece. No one knows you better than He does.

Religion loves to focus on our shortcomings, but Jesus sees us through the eyes of love. He understands the transforming power of the cross better than anyone. This is the sacrifice that has determined our value. His victory made us beautiful. When we see ourselves the way He does, inhibitions fall away. Fully confident in His opinion of us, we worship extravagantly. Others may judge or criticize, but our focus is on Him alone. As we gaze upon His face, we cannot help but return His love.

Jesus, your love has transformed me. I’m powerful and pure— cleansed by your holy blood. As I kneel before you, glistening in the glow of your glory, I have total confidence in your love. It shapes me, defines me. I am who you say I am. May my worship move your heart the way your presence stirs mine.
