How to Pray for Children in Poverty: 5 Prayers نموونە
Pray for Godly Friends
A friend is so important when we’re going through a season of hopelessness. Friendship is a very important element of a fulfilled life. Children need peers and caring adults who support them through good and difficult times.
In our verse today, “friend” is singular. Remember, the significance of friendship is found in quality, not quantity. While it is a blessing to have many friends, this verse shares the importance of close friendships.
Today, let’s pray for children around the world to have close friends who steer them to wise choices and lead them to a closer relationship with God.
Suggested Prayer:
“Lord God, I pray that you will stay near all children living in poverty. Please provide them with bonds of friendship with others who encourage and influence them to seek you and make good decisions.
Let them be drawn to an uplifting community where they can flourish and contribute. God, I pray that you will help each child learn how to be a good friend too. May they discover the joy that comes from supporting and loving others through good times and bad.
Most of all, I pray that each child will know your friendship by accepting your gift of salvation. May they grow in a strong relationship with you and learn to trust you in all things. Amen.”
