With My Whole Heart.
“I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.” Psalms 9:1 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Praise” is, ‘yadah’ (H3034) which means, “To throw, shoot, cast, cast down, throw down, to give thanks, praise, to confess.” Choose to thank God in adversity. Choose to bless and honor God with the fruit of your lips.
Praise will break the burden of heaviness. Praise will break the cycle of defeat. Praise will lift the weight of the past. Choose to praise God. Praise will break the bondage and bands of heaviness. Choose to be thankful and praise Him.
Isaiah 61:3 KJV declares, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.” Let every part of your heart serve and honor Christ. Choose to worship Christ.
Focus your heart on His Word. Offer your life and heart as a thank-offering to Him. Let your heart worship Him. Let your heart praise Him. Surrender your whole heart to Him. Don’t let your past harden any area of your heart. Pain will keep your heart in bondage. Choose to cast your cares, worries, pain and anxiety over to God. 1 Peter 5:7 KJV declares, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Give it over to God.
Family Action:
As a family, choose to cast your care, concern, worry and anxiety over to God. On separate sheets of paper, write down something that’s been weighing on your heart. Gather them together, pray and choose to cast them over to God together. Let God lead your family. Let God heal your heart. Know that He cares for you and He cares about your needs.
