Mary's Treasureنموونە
Reaping What Was Sown
A census declared that we must take a trip
Expecting so soon, I felt quite unequipped.
Enduring the labor pains near journey’s end
My thoughts turned to Eve and her sin’s dividend:
A curse that all women would painfully bear,
Our life’s greatest blessing conjoined with despair.
I picked out a seed from a fig as I ate,
A symbol of Eden lost, death now our fate.
Yes, Eve’s curse has touched every mom this earth treads
Though snake strikes the heel, one will soon crush its head.
For trees bear the fruit of the seeds’ that we sow,
Each pruning increasing the harvest we grow.
About this Plan
In this devotional written from the perspective of Jesus' mother, Mary vulnerably and honestly details the intimate moments of her experience as a mom. In each compelling scene, Mary treasures a small token to remember it by. Little does she know the divine significance each item will play in the ultimate purpose of her son’s role on earth.
