Listening To The Word - 1 Yearنموونە
Trust, Delight, Commit
Psalm 37:3-6
“Trust in the Lord and do good…Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”
There are great promises of God’s favor and blessing for those who trust, delight and commit their ways to the Lord. It is in full surrender and devotion to the Lord that he transforms our hearts and gives us new desires. We can fully trust God’s defense of our lives and our choices when we fully surrender to him. When we walk into the full light of God’s presence we find his light guiding our way and testifying of his presence with us. It is God’s presence that is our strongest testimony and witness.
Lord Jesus, I trust and delight in you, and I commit all that I have and do to you this day. My life is in you!
