Behold I Send You Forth As Sheepنموونە
Be Not Conformed To This World.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2 KJV
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Conformed” is, ‘syschēmatizō’ (G4964) which means, “To conform one's self (i.e. one's mind and character) to another's pattern, (fashion one's self according to).” Let God transform you. Do not conform to the world’s way of doing things. Choose to pattern your character after Christ. Let the Word of God, transform and renew your mind. Let His Word shape and develop you. Be not conformed to the world’s way of doing things. Choose to surrender to God’s Way of doing things.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Renew” is, ‘anakainōsis’ (G342) which means, “A renewal, renovation, complete change for the better.” Let God’s Word renew you. Let His Word renovate your old way of thinking. Let God’s Word completely change you for the better. Romans 12:2 NLT declares, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Choose to read His Word and Pattern yourself after His Promises. Let His Word transform you into an entirely new person.
Joshua 1:8 KJV declares, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” When you meditate upon His Word, day and night — in every season, you will have good success. Choose to focus on His Word. Be deliberate and concentrate on applying His Word in every area of your life.
His Word will transform you. His Word will renew you. His Word will restore you. His Word will set you free. Choose to pattern yourself after Christ. Conforming is a choice. “Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].” Romans 12:2 AMPC.
