And The Light Shineth In Darknessنموونە
And God Said....
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis 1:3 KJV
Let God’s Word light your path. Let His Word shine on every aspect of your life. Let His Word shine through you, even when darkness tries to consume you. Don’t let the darkness overtake you. Choose to remember what God’s Word has declared over you. Choose to remember what God’s Word states about your situation. Psalms 27:1-2 KJV declares, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” Choose to find every scripture that you can about your circumstance. God’s Word will conquer the plan and plot of the enemy every time.
When darkness tries to cloud your vision, choose to deploy God’s Word. Choose to confess His Word daily. Joshua 1:8 declares, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Don’t let the Word of God depart from your mouth. Choose to meditate on His Word both day and night. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Meditate” is, ‘hagah’ (H1897) which means, “To moan, growl, utter, muse, mutter, devise, plot, or to speak.” Don’t let the darkness cause you to complain. Don’t let the darkness derail your focus. Don’t let the darkness derail your vision. Don’t complain about the darkness — choose to shine His Light. Choose to confess His Word.
Choose to utter or actively speak God’s Word on a daily basis. Don’t let the darkness, silence your voice. Don’t allow the darkness to muffle your faith. Don’t let the darkness overtake you. Choose to say what God says. Choose to surrender your words and ways over to God. Let His Word lead you. Let His Light guide your path. Follow Christ.
