Creativity

Even as age comes upon us, we should already recognize all the developments that have come to pass in our lives. With our thoughts, attitudes, our growth in our relationship with Christ, and how we look at life in general. We couldn’t have gotten this far if we didn’t see that Christ made us to pursue Him, to understand how original we are since we are His design, and to realize that we still have room to grow. That even includes creativity. When women make the statement to me that they have no creativity, I stop and make this statement – “I believe that God has given each of us some type of creativity, no matter what area it may be.” Usually there is no argument after that comment.

We don’t know how long God developed and perfected all His plans for the world to be born; it could have been many lifetimes to us. However, we do know that through His developing, and creatively perfecting this world, He has purposely instilled in each of us His passion to create so that it can be used to glorify Him. Even in advanced age it is never too late for us to start creating something for the sole purpose of glorifying Christ.

What is it that He has placed in front of you? Use this simple prayer and listen with open ears and eyes to see where He is pointing:

“Father help us to remember our first steps in becoming who we are in You and where we are right now. Help us to realize that even with age there is still room to create to glorify You. Amen”
