Discover New Paths - The Invitation To Intimacy With Godنموونە
A New Way of Life
The habits you currently have are only good enough to get you what you’ve currently got. If you don’t change a habit, then you will go right back to where you were. Fad diets prove this. To achieve greater things you must create new habits—such as eating healthfully every day, rather than trying something drastic for a week and seeing the pounds pile back on later.
Maybe you don’t think you have time to add any new habits to your schedule. Instead of looking at the time you don’t have, try looking at the time you do have and make the most of it. What could you accomplish by eliminating only one hour every day from social media, television, or unnecessary phone time?
I challenge you to start with one discipline of waking up twenty minutes earlier to be alone with God. You’ll soon gain stability, direction, vision, and intimacy with God.
Hebrews 11:6 says God “is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (KJV). Make seeking God every day a part of your routine, like brushing your teeth or washing your face. Soon you won’t ask yourself if you feel like it; you’ll just do it.
Too many people think of growth as a period of life rather than a way of life. Never cap off how much you can grow. Incorporate new growth habits in your life that will lead you to the success God has for you. It’s not easy. But I can tell you from experience, it’s worth it.
Lord, help me see where I can grow and change my current habits so I can go higher with You.
