The Lord Is My Shepherdنموونە
I Shall Not Want.
When God is your Shepherd, you shall not want. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for “Want” is, ‘chacer’ (H2637) which means, “Lack, be without, decrease, have a need, to diminish, decrease.” David declares, the Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not lack! When God is your Ruler, Master and Teacher, you will not lack. When you surrender to His Word, His Word is full of Power and has the ability to transform your situation. His Word lacks nothing.
When God’s Word cultivates the ground of your heart, you’re digesting His Word into the soil and the bedrock of your heart. When you build your life around His Word, you will not lack. There is emotional fulfillment in God’s Word, physical healing in God’s Word, mental stability in His Word and spiritual sustainability through His Word. When you submit to God’s Word, you will thrive and your soul will lack nothing.
Matthew 5:6 KJV states, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Filled” is, ‘chortazō’ (G5526) which means, “To feed with herbs, grass, hay, to fill, satisfy with food, to fatten, of animals, to fill or satisfy men, to fulfill or satisfy the desire of any one.” When the Lord is your Master, Ruler and Teacher, you shall not lack — you shall be satisfied. When His Word cultivates and saturates the ground of your heart, your soul is fattened and satisfied. When you crave Him, your soul lacks nothing. Let God satisfy your desires. Let His Word satisfy your heart and soul.
