Walk With God.
“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” Genesis 17:1 KJV
No matter your age, no matter your stage, choose to surrender and obey God. Submit to Him and walk out His Word daily. Walk with God. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Hebrew word for ‘Walk’ is ‘halak’ (H1980) which means: “To go, come, proceed, or move”. It’s time to move. It’s time to do what God has called you to do. It’s time to proceed with that vision that God has given you. Abram, being ninety-nine years old, name was changed into Abraham. Additionally, Abraham was circumcised at ninety-nine. In his old age God changed Abram’s name and made a covenant with Him. God made Abraham a father of many nations. Your age doesn’t matter. Young or old. Your timing doesn’t matter. When God wants to use you — He will use you as He pleases.
The more you read and digest the Word of God the more you’ll be able to apply His Word in every area of your life. When Abram was ninety-nine the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, “I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” Genesis 17:1 KJV. Imagine being 99 years old and God presenting Himself before you in a new and relevant way. Abraham surrender to God. He didn’t allow stubbornness to get in the way — He chose to trust God.
God wants to make a Covenant with you. He wants to have His Word come alive in you. He wants to allow His Word to live and dwell within the walls of your heart. Walk humbly before God. Learn to lead and steward justly. Choose to love mercy. Walk out His Word daily. Let God present Himself to you in a new way.
Maybe God has to circumcise your heart and cut off the things that are not like Him. Pray and ask God to point out the areas that need development. God wants to develop you. God wants to mature you. God wants to lead and direct your heart to reflect His Word. God wants to develop your character. He wants you to reflect His Heart. Surrender your skills to Him. Let His Word reflect in every aspect of your life. Choose to surrender. Walk with God. Humble yourself before Him and Worship Him.
