Restore The Roarنموونە
DAY FIVE: The End of Fear is the Beginning of Trust
Maybe fear has gripped your life so intensely that you can’t think clearly.
How do you begin to build past faith into a deeper trust?
Trust requires relationship. Get to know the character of God and nurture that relationship with Him. Here are five steps to get you on the right track:
- Choose God and acknowledge Him. Take the first step and ask God to be the Lord of your life and start a new life.
- Read God’s Word. It’s our GPS—God Positioning System—so we don’t get lost on the journey.
- Praise God. Praise opens the windows of heaven and creates an atmosphere where miracles take place.
- Cry out to God. Make crying out to God your default against fear.
- Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Allow the Spirit to stir up your memory of all that God has done and how He has been consistent to His Word. The Holy Spirit is our spiritual compass.
The power of God’s unfailing love is infinitely greater than any attacks trying to threaten you. You can trust in Him. He is our refuge; in Him our destiny is secure. In God our souls find rest and salvation.
