454 BC Ezra publicly reads the Law and the people listen carefully. Then in worship they repent, construct temporary booths to live in as required by the Law and for the first time in 800 years they fully celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

Note Nehemiah 9:1: Nehemiah called for this special day of national repentance (Day of Atonement) because, since the days of Joshua, the entire assembly had not celebrated all three feasts of the seventh month as required by the Law.
