Everyone. Everywhere. Part 2نموونە
Character of God
When you moved to college, did you grow apart from anyone back home? Relationships often weaken simply because of physical or emotional distance. Communication is vital to any relationship, but it is crucial in our most important relationship–the one we have with God. God allows us to talk to Him any time, any where, and about anything. What is even more amazing is that He not only allows us to talk to Him, but He wants us to talk to Him. But, honestly, this can be hard to accomplish on a daily basis, because it looks and feels different from communicating with our parents or our best friends.
The good news is, we have the precious gift of His Word that reveals to us more and more about our Creator. As we have focused on this summer, the Bible gives us our purpose in life, tells us who we are, and, most importantly, tells us who God is. With each page, we get a closer glimpse into the character of God and how truly amazing He is. May we never lose sight of the God we serve.
Questions to Ask Yourself:
- Think about your summer. How has your relationship with God changed?
- What do you want to do differently to continue to grow during this upcoming year?
What’s Next:
- Look back at some of your spiritual goals from day one. Take some time to write out what went well and what did not. Praise God for the ways you saw Him move in your life over the past three months.
- Read Psalm 103 and thank God for who He is and how He has impacted your life.
