Humbled نموونە
The Bible teaches us how beautiful and wonderful it is to evangelize, and the fundamental importance that it has to our Lord Jesus Christ. In reading the Scripture, I understood that the greatest task that we have as the Church, the Body of Christ, is to go out to announce, proclaim, and tell everyone that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
With much sadness I've seen around the world how the Church has put aside this mandate. For some, the task of evangelizing has become a burden; to others, it's just another obligation, an event on the calendar, a program. Just the mere thought of thinking this way about evangelism is what makes it fail, without us even realizing it.
As the Church of Jesus Christ, we must understand that the great task of evangelizing is a call to spiritual warfare. In simpler words, to evangelize is to exercise spiritual warfare. It's to go outside the four walls of the church building, into enemy territory, to a place we call the world, to the squares, parks, and streets… to the place where Satan exercises his control, empire, and dominion in the lives of those enslaved by sin.
To evangelize is to wrest away from the devil's grip the lives of those who he holds captives.
As the Church of Jesus Christ, we have the authority to command the devil to release the souls in his captivity so that the Gospel can shine throughout the Earth.
The Word of God so marvelously presents us the call, it shows us the problem, and gives us the solution. It now depends on us to put into practice everything that is written in it.
