What difference can I make?
One of my favourite scriptures is Hebrews 4:16 (NLT):
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
This scripture blows my mind. How is it possible that this mighty, majestic, universe-creating God, who wraps Himself in light as a garment and stretches out the heavens like a tent, who makes the clouds His chariot and set the earth on its foundations, says that you and I can walk right into His presence and simply ask Him for what we need?
The incredible truth is that you and I have been rescued from being an orphan and elevated to a position of royalty, with all of its privileges. We have become children of God, sons and daughters of the King. This means we now have access to the King of all Kings, the God of the universe.
Just think about that for a moment.
Galatians 2:20 says,
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
This means that you and I are carriers of His life, love, peace and presence everywhere we go.
This is the truth: it doesn’t matter how small or insignificant you think you are, because it’s not about you, it’s all about Him. The point of the Gospel is that it’s all about who He is and what He can do for you.
It doesn't matter how ill-equipped you think you are or how insignificant you feel. Living out the abundant life to which God has called you does not depend on what you can or can’t do. It only matters who He is and what He can do through you.
When we live our lives fully yielded to Him, in total abandon and surrender, He comes and inhabits the small offering of ourselves, then something beautiful and powerful begins to happen.
When we understand what it is that we carry, the treasure, the Gold within, suddenly everything changes.
You see, it means that when I reach out my hand and lay it on someone who is sick, His hand reaches out too.
When I walk into a room, He walks in there with me.
When I speak, His voice can be heard.
Just think about that for a moment. You have a treasure in your jar of clay.
Do you realise the potential you carry to change your world?

About this Plan
There is God-given potential dormant inside of every person, waiting to be released. We call it gold. The reality of who you are, the potential of your life, is not based on your natural circumstances, your past or your present. What people say about you has no bearing on it. Who you are is based only on who your Father says you are. Come on the journey. Discover the gold.
