6 Days To Becoming A Kingdom Discipleنموونە
We have seen how discipleship is a commitment, a trial, and an experience. It is also a time-measured journey. Think about cooking a dish in a slow cooker. You have to take your time and let the food absorb the seasoning, so that when it is finished, it has become what it is supposed to be. Similarly, discipleship takes time. You won’t be good at it at first. You’ll want to do things your own way. You’ll resist what God wants you to do. But if you’re willing to recommit yourself daily to taking up your cross, denying yourself and following Him, you will also become what you are supposed to be.
God wants to bring you to a state of maturity where you are consistently reflecting His decision-making in your choices. And when you are consistently doing that because you have grown to trust Him, you will mature. You grow through the experiences you have with Him. Then you will become one who discerns spiritually, as taught in Hebrews 5, and you will be able to see things from a spiritual perspective and respond to them accordingly.
So, it’s absolutely critical that you walk through this journey of discipleship so that you experience all that God has prepared for you.

About this Plan
A disciple in the kingdom of God is one who chooses to be more than just a fan of Jesus Christ. They commit themselves to taking up their cross, denying themselves, and following Him. This commitment is not an easy one and it is not a short one, but it is rich with God’s reward. Join Tony Evans as he uncovers what it means to follow Jesus, no turning back.
