I Am a Friend of God
Every single one of us are hardwired for relationship. We are built to need connection and intimacy with others. And while developing friendships with the people around us is so valuable, it’s also important to remember that God desires relationship with you!
In fact, He calls you a friend. He wants to be a part of every facet of your life because He loves you and desires to be with you.
Are you ready to experience friendship with God? The more you spend time with Him, the more His truth will set you free to be yourself. And I can’t think of a better way to live than that.
“I have never called you ‘servants,’ because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father” (John 15:15, TPT).
In closing, my friends, when you realize your identity is a friend of God, a child of God, a partner with God, you will do everything you were created to do. But you must not forget that you are not what you do. You truly are chosen, appointed, victorious, accepted as you are and free!
