Bloom: Fresh Devotionals For Girls Part Twoنموونە
Being a Good Friend
From school to church to after-school activities, chances are, you’re surrounded by friends. Some friends you’ve known for a long time, others are new relationships. Some friends will end up staying in your life for a long time (I’ve known my best friend since I was six and we are still besties!) and some will only be your friends for a season.
With all this time spent around friends, it’s important to learn how to be a good friend and how to look for good friends. What do you look for in a friend? Honesty? Positivity? A good sense of humor? List other qualities that are important to you below.
The qualities I appreciate in a friend are loyalty, positivity, an understanding heart, a relationship with God, and the ability to have fun! We all want to have a little fun!
Now, take a look at your list, and take a look at yourself. Do you possess these qualities, or is there room to improve? In order to have good friends, you also have to be a good friend. The qualities you are looking for in a friend may be qualities people are looking for in you.
What about me?
Ask God to help you be a good friend as you look for good friends.
