I Believe In Miracles

DAY 2 OF 3

EXIT TO ENTER – A BRAND-NEW MAN

The Children of Israel had to exit Egypt through the Red Sea, which miraculously opened for them. In order to enter the promised land, they had to go through the river Jordan, which also miraculously opened for them.

The Bible tells us very clearly in 2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new".

One Year the theme of our Men‘s Conference was “Dying to Live.” We have to die to self and let Christ live in us so that we can live life to the full. The Bible includes many illustrations of those who have been transformed through the power of God in their lives.

I think of Moses, who was a murderer and a coward; yet when he met with God at the burning bush, his life was transformed. He became not only the head of his family, but also God’s spokesman and the head of the whole nation of Israel - which is believed to have been between two and three million people.

What happened? Here’s a man who was a deserter, who ran for his life, now single-handedly confronting the most powerful man in the world.

Jesus Christ is indeed a miracle-working God. He transforms people from being fearful and incompetent – full of anger, lust, hatred, and fear – into people of stature, of love, of power, and of a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7). This is our inheritance; this is what we need to take hold of. Then we will become better in all our relationships.

We don’t have to carry the stigma of failure anymore, because Jesus Christ blots it all out. He gives us a new start, a new inheritance, a new beginning, a new opportunity to love Him and serve Him.

There is no time to sit on the fence! It is time to let our 'Yes be yes', and our 'No be no'. Exit the past and enter the future with Jesus. Move on to the new.

Only in and through Him, will we experience that blessed peace we are seeking after. We must leave the old if we want to enter the new.

Jesus, thank You for transforming us into people who can act in power for Your purposes. Amen

About this Plan

I Believe In Miracles

"For me, still the greatest miracle of all is when a man or woman is born again, because the Lord says in John 3:3 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God' and then again in verse 7, 'You must be born again.' - Angus Buchan Join Angus on this 3-day devotional, exploring examples of miracles we can all learn and grow from.
